Yup It's True - Ski Dubai - Amazing !

Ski Dubai - Skiing on snow in the Middle East

Ski Dubai is claimed to be one of the largest indoor ski resorts in the world, with 22,500-square meters of indoor ski area. It is a part of the Mall of the Emirates, the largest shopping mall outside of North America, and the third largest mall in the world. Ski Dubai has 5 runs that vary in difficulty, height and gradient, the longest run being 400 meters with a fall of over 60 meters. A day pass is approx. $62 for an adult and a 2 hour pass is approx. $38 and that includes clothing and equipment rental.

3,500 barrels of oil are consumed every day by power generators to maintain the low temperature of -1...-2 degrees Celsius consistently.

Why is gasoline $2.95 a gallon for regular unleaded?
So people can ski in the desert, that's why!
(Actually, I hear tell that China is creating the gas/oil scarcity due to their expanding economy)
Can someone please get alternatively fueled cars on the road already!
