Your Baby's Name Here Dot Com

Ditch the strollers and onesies....

Here is the latest rage in baby gifts... domain names.

Yup - kids can have their very own online identity claimed even before they even know what a computer or the Internet is.

It is even proving to be an inexpensive gift - costing about $9.00 a year, and it guarantees that no one else can have "your kid's name dot com" in cyberspace (as long as you keep paying for the domain name).

Parents are snapping up and reserving domain names for their kids,as well as for other people. In fact someone claimed the ".com" for Britney Spears' 11-month-old son before she could.

As for me, my name has already been taken - that would be and she's a singer not a homeschool or parental rights activist - her music is pretty nice too.

So what are you waiting for?
Quick grab your kid's domain name before someone else does!

I'm only a bit embarrassed to admit that this idea had already crossed my mind, heh.

But seeing as we refuse to name the Wee One until he makes his debut (the sooner, the better at this point o_O) and that very few people have our last name, I decided it wasn't worth worrying about.
