Presidential Candidates

Yes, we all know about Barack Hussein Obama and John McCain, but here are some others (yes there are others) and of course the media will never tell you about them or give them the equal time that they are even to have as required by law.

Constitution Party - Chuck Baldwin

Libertarian Party - Bob Barr

Independant Ralph Nader

Independant Jessie Ventura

At least those are the four others that I know about.
So see America, you DO have a choice in November.

Hi Judy,

Do you happen to know what the difference is between the Constitution party and the Libertarians?

Well, you could go to their websites to see but as far as I can tell the Constitution party has an infusion of religious belief (especially on issues of abortion and marriage) into their platform.

Seven Principles of the Constitution Party are:

1. Life: For all human beings, from conception to natural death;
2. Liberty: Freedom of conscience and actions for the self-governed individual;
3. Family: One husband and one wife with their children as divinely instituted;
4. Property: Each individual's right to own and steward personal property without government burden;
5. Constitution: and Bill of Rights interpreted according to the actual intent of the Founding Fathers;
6. States' Rights: Everything not specifically delegated by the Constitution to the federal government is reserved for the state and local jurisdictions;
7. American Sovereignty: American government committed to the protection of the borders, trade, and common defense of Americans, and not entangled in foreign alliances.

and the Libertarian party are really more about personal liberty and free markets - they talk a bit more about smaller government and individual responsibility as well as personal freedom and privacy and not infringing on other people's rights. Libertarians basically say the government should not be involved in issues of marriage or procreation (so for example, there are pro-life and pro-choice libertarians). They believe in our country's sovereignty and in non-interventionism (and they are not isolationists as some would claim)
