Another Day, Another Violation In Hartford

With the Chairman of the Education Committee double billing, and the Commissioner of the Department of Children and Families arrested for DUI, one has to wonder what kind of people we have running things up in Hartford.

No one is perfect - but crikey - can't people who are making major decisions for CT at least act like responsible adults?

Every week brings some other news of some illegal, or unethical activities from the boys and girls watching over CT's money and children. It's very disconcerting.

I seriously wonder if Commissioner Susan Hamilton will be investigated and have her children taken away from her, as her agency routinely does to families across CT, or if she'll just be given a stern reprimand and told to behave.

I recall all the grief given to GOP Chair Chris Healy by the Democrat establishment who routinely mocked and ridiculed him for his DUI; my guess is that Ms. Hamilton will not be treated as harshly.

Then again, perhaps the powers that be in Hartford understand that Hamilton's job would drive anyone to drink. Literally.
