But yeah - that just about says it.
When Acorn/SEIU were busing people all over the country to vote in districts they didn't live in, and protesting at CEO's homes that was ok (and THAT wasn't "astroturf"), but when concerned citizens go to their own town halls, and confront their local Congressmen (who have been basically ignoring their emails and faxes and phone calls) , that's wrong?
Are we aware of our obligations to a mob? It is the mob that labor in your fields and serve in your houses -- that man your navy, and recruit your army -- that have enabled you to defy the world, and can also defy you when neglect and calamity have driven them to despair. You may call the people a mob; but do not forget that a mob too often speaks the sentiments of the people. - Lord Byron
Need I remind the Left of what one of their very own once said...
"I'm sick and tired of people who say that if you debate and disagree with this administration, somehow you're not patriotic. We need to stand up and say we're Americans, and we have the right to debate and disagree with any administration."
- Hillary Clinton
and I offer one last clip.... a new meaning to the Fashion Police...
I'll take grandmas in tennis shoes any day! The White House and the DNC is forgetting that many of these Town Hall protesters also burned their draft cards and bras in the 1960's! Protesting is nothing new to them.... and they have been woken up!
The Left is making a HUGE tactical mistake by belittling them, marginalizing them, mocking them and especially sending union goons out to intimidate them and incite violence. Hiding from constituents, canceling Town Halls and limiting access to elected officials is NOT going to be a good thing. You can bet on it. One last note - this ain't just about healthcare!
