The Tea Party Express

The Tea Party Express is wending its way through America to it's destination of Washington, DC on September 12 for a big Rally and March on The Capitol.

The Tea Party Express caravan will feature two 45-foot coaches leading a multi-vehicle caravan complete with several RV’s, minivans, SUVs, motorcycles and passenger vehicles. The caravan will travel from August 28 to September 12 on a mission to unify, educate, and most importantly encourage Americans to continue their opposition of deficit spending, government-run healthcare, and irresponsible bailouts. The tour will culminate with the massive “9/12 March on Washington” event.
The Tea Party Express will make an appearance in Hartford and Bridgeport. It will be in Hartford at the State Capitol building from 9 AM TO 1 PM on September 11.

Hartford Tea Party Patriots will be welcoming the Tea Party Express national bus tour when it arrives in Connecticut to rally Americans to oppose the out-of-control spending, higher taxes, bailouts and growth in the size and power of the government.

The Tea Party Express Hartford Rally will highlight some of the worst offenders in Congress who have voted for higher spending, higher taxes, and government intervention in the lives of American families and businesses. These Members of Congress have infringed upon the freedom of the individual in this great nation, and it's time for us to say: "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH".

The Tea Party Express Hartford Rally will feature national leaders in the anti-tax, conservative, tea party movement, along with musical performances, including the following:

Lew Uhler (Chairman, National Tax Limitation Committee PAC)

Deborah Johns & Mark Williams (Vice Chairpersons, Our Country Deserves Better PAC)

Amy Kremer (National Coordinator, Tea Party Patriots)

Lloyd Marcus (performing the "American Tea Party Anthem"), and Revue (performing "A Bailout Song").

In addition to both national and local speakers, and musical entertainment, there will be information tables, and other family-friendly activities.

There are also buses being chartered by various groups to bring people to Washington for the rally.
