Papers Please....Obama Administration Re-Visiting National ID

Like a National ID card is going to make us safer?
Give me a flipping break.

Washington lawmakers and their agencies haven't been enforcing immigration law for years!

Why haven't they been enforcing illegal immigration laws in the past decade? Because of the 2010 Census that's why. Congressmen WANT to have illegal immigration in order to save their Congressional seats that will be based on the 2010 Census count!!!
Do you not get this?
Look at where the sanctuary cities are!!!
Look whose congressional seats they are protecting.

If it weren't for illegal aliens flooding into urban areas (particularly in the Northeast), then population in many of those areas would be declining even more. There would be bigger losses of Congressional seats.

Also illegal aliens are increasing school and social service budgets that these Congressmen help to fund and staff.

This National ID card is ONLY for purposes of tracking everyone and controlling the people in this country, especially if they are chipped and easily scanned.

Sure you use a Social Security Card - but is NOT supposed to be used as identification. Non-citizens have Social Security cards as they are issued to people who have temporary work authorization in the U.S.

Sure you have a Drivers License - but that is only a permit to show that you passed a test and have the proper skills to drive. It too, is NOT supposed to be used for identification, or to get a job, and it certainly should not have biometric information on it. Non-citizens can get drivers licenses.

The Real ID Act is a travesty. It should never have been passed and many states have already rejected it. Real ID needs to be stopped!

Full Body scanners at airports.
Real ID papers.
E-Verify at your employers office.
Cameras in the streets.
Babies having to give hospitals DNA samples.

Have you woken up yet?

Here is where we are headed:

This standardized "Papers Please" mentality is not going to stop illegal immigration and it isn't going to stop terrorism. It is a false security measure that will in the end lead to the further erosion of civil liberties at a huge cost to the taxpayer. This is NOT the Hallmark of a Free Nation!

"If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy." - James Madison

"Dictatorships start wars because they need external enemies to exert internal control over their own people." - Richard Perle

"Those who are willing to trade freedom for security deserve neither freedom nor security." - Benjamin Franklin

Will YOU reject being tagged like inventory, and questioned at every turn?
How much do you value your privacy and your Liberty?

Arkansas has began requiring that your social security be listed with your information at the DMV. What does a SS card have to do with driving? I am not sure where the other states stand on this. This is just one step closer to complete control. Are driving records will become an open part of everything else. They could use the states license to impliment national ID without calling it a "National ID". They are just gonna put a dab of sugar on it with a spoon so everyone will swallow it. Kind of like we are free but they began funding schools and making them compulsatory so they could have factory workers aka slaves by will. At first we will not realize what has happened and then when the shit hits the fan the people that were unconcerned and arrogant will finally get it. I use to be republican though I voted democrat a few times. Now I'm a patriot. I care deeply what happens to this country I am leaving children behind in it when I go. It strikes fear in me to see what the current president is pushing. This guy needs to be one term! Someone needs to take office that is not about a global economy! Good blog keep up the good fight you are a true Patriotic Citizen!

I found your blog from the homeschoolbuzz blog, so quite by accident. Interesting reading here. You hold nothing back and more people should be speaking up like this. We've been fighting the CPSIA for over a year now and still nothing is being done. The country as we once knew it has gone to hell in a handbasket.

I do have a question, if driver's licenses and social security cards are not to be used for identification, what are? Birth certificates? I was born overseas as my father was in the military, therefore, have three birth certificates - one from the actual hospital I was born in, a military one showing that I am an American Citizen due to the birth of my parents and a regular one from the US Naval area in Japan showing that I was born overseas.

I was a little confused by what we should be using as identification. Anyway - wish more folks would speak up and get these points known. Thanks for an interesting blog - E :)

"Papers Please" just smacks of a totalitarian state, doesn't it. I have to say, I so much enjoy your blog. Keep up the fight!

The way I see it, we don't need ID cards of any kind. Businesses we work with need to come up with their own systems to keep track of their customers. What does govt need to ID us for? Only unconstitutional things like income tax and other things they have no business being involved in like where we work, go to school, live, etc. Until we commit a crime govt should take no notice of us at all. I still think birth certificates are a good idea to prove citizenship though, but they are not issued by govt, unless you're born in a military hospital.

Duke's wife here--

You know, even if we went to implantable body chips or something similar, it ultimately wouldn't make any difference. No matter how sophisticated the technology, identity thieves will always find a way to steal and copy peoples' information--birth certificates included. As far as counterterrorism goes, I think we could stand to take a page or three from the Israelis on how to handle that without abridging citizens' rights all over the place. Nancy
