Digital Copiers - Identity Theft Pot of Gold




Now, that was VERY disturbing.

What a huge security breach - especially with those copiers being sold offshore!

That is a serious problem. I think of the times I copied tax forms at work or copy centers!

I used to work for a huge copier manufacturer and we did offer a "image overwrite" option that really worked very well to automatically erase images right after they are printed.

They mentioned this in the story as a $500 option (from one copier company). It should be standard on all copiers/printers.
