The Deliberate Dumbing Down Of America

"Every child in America entering school at the age of five is mentally ill because he comes to school with certain allegiances to our founding fathers, toward our elected officials, toward his parents, toward a belief in a supernatural being, and toward the sovereignty of this nation as a separate entity. It's up to you as teachers to make all these sick children well by creating the international child of the future." - Harvard psychiatrist Chester M. Pierce, speaking as an expert in public education at the 1973 International Education Seminar

How is it that the government school system has not yet been charged with child abuse?

If you have a child, and haven't been reading anything by John Taylor Gatto, Charlotte Iserbyt, Bev Eakman, Paolo Lionni, Charles Sykes, Ned Vare, or Sam Blumenfeld (among others) then you should get to a library and start reading.

We desperately need to get Big Pharma out of our schools and make some REAL meaningful education reforms.

"The purpose of education is to teach a student how to live his life – by developing his mind and equipping him to deal with reality. He has to be taught to think, to understand, to integrate, to prove. He has to be taught the essentials of the knowledge discovered in the past – and he has to be equipped to acquire further knowledge by his own effort." ~ Ayn Rand
