The Peace Prize President

‎"The president does not have the power under the Constitution to unilaterally authorize attack in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation." ~ Sen. Barack Obama speaking about George Bush's military actions in Iraq

MARCH 19, 2003
BUSH: 'American and coalition forces are in the early stages of military operations to disarm Iraq, to free its people and to defend the world from grave danger'...

MARCH 19, 2011
OBAMA: 'Today we are part of a broad coalition. We are answering the calls of a threatened people. And we are acting in the interests of the United States and the world'...

Same church different pew.

Obama has unilaterally - without the consent of Congress - ordered air strikes in Libya - which is tantamount to an act of war.

Obama is taking his orders from the UN Security Council instead of his own Congress.

Congressman Larson (CT) is irate over Obama's unconstitutional action.
Obama's even got the Left in an uproar with uber Leftists like Dennis Kucinich calling for his impeachment!
It's kind of amusing really.

One thing is for sure - it probably has the war mongering neocon Republicans in Washington confused.
Obama seems to have found his "inner neocon"
Do they support Obama now as they supported Bush?
Good question.

So what does this show us?
It shows us the truth behind the Right/Left paradigm.
It's really all the same garbage in Washington (ie. the Republicrat party).
There's really no Hope and Change - there never was.
The Bush/Clinton/Bush/Obama dynasty continues.

But, the powers that be - the one's that actually pull Obama's strings and write his teleprompted speeches - would like to keep this nation divided and polarized - while they march us into a third war to get us even further in debt and create more dangerous blowback for this country.
They continue monetary policies that are fiscally unsustainable, and detrimental to us as a nation.
They continue to trample on our liberties "to keep us safe".
They continue to enslave us all with massive taxation and tyrannical nanny state legislation.
They continue to destroy businesses by supporting policies that force work to go overseas and they reward and prop up failed business models by giving corporate welfare to companies that should be allowed to fail.

This Peace Prize President has given us more war, more debt, more inflation, more internal hostility, more uncertainty, more disregard for our laws and our sovereignty.

Obama has thumbed his nose at the American people by flitting off from one vacation to another - from one golf course to another - from one White House party to another - while the bulk of America suffers the pangs of unemployment, war, higher food prices, and spiraling debt.

That is what Obama's Hope and Change looks like.
Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya.
"I will promise you this, that if we have not gotten our troops out by the time I am president, it is the first thing I will do. I will get our troops home. We will bring an end to this war...." - Barack Obama - October 27, 2007

"As a candidate, I promised that I would end this war, and that is what I am doing as president... Make no mistake: this war is ending, and all of our troops are coming home." Barack Obama - State of the Union address to a joint session of Congress.
For a presidential candidate that was supposed to bring the troops home - I wonder how many more Americans must die as they go to fight in Libya for this Peace Prize President?

from American Thinker...

United States Code (50 U.S.C. 1541-1548), the War Powers Act, specifically states that the president may undertake the use of military force only in the case of "... a national emergency created by attack upon the United States, its territories or possessions, or its armed forces." It further states that the President must consult with Congress, " every possible instance shall consult with Congress before introducing United States Armed Forces into hostilities ..."

Membership in the United Nations does not grant the Security Council the authority to order U.S. forces into action, and being the President does not permit Obama to violate the Constitution and the Law, to commit an act of war without the authorization of the People, through their Congress.

Years ago when George Wallace was Gov. of Alabama, he was asked about the differences between the Republicans and Democrats. He said that there's not a nickel's worth of different between those two parties. Nothing has changed in that respect.
It is refreshing to read your articles and commentaries, and to see that there are others who view Obama as nothing more than a puppet.
