Call Congress Now - This Debt Deal Is Crap!

This debt ceiling deal in DC is a sham - we must call Congress NOW to kill it.

Here is what this morning's Debt Deal comes down to:
$2.4 Trillion increase to the debt limit which will put it at $16.7 Trillion immediately.
A little less than $1 Trillion in "cuts" (step one) over 10 years.
An additional $1.2 Trillion later if voted on, and if not cuts will be made to Defense $600 billion and Medicare $600 billion.

The first year will only be $5 to $20 Billion if that.
After this Congress can put a stop to the cuts.
They are saying NO tax increases, but Obama will let the Bush tax cuts expire, which is a tax increase for everyone.
NO Balanced Budget Amendment included in this vote.

Here's our future:

$2,400,000,000,000 ($2.4 trillion) in debt increase
$5-$20 billion in spending cuts
$892 billion in spending cuts over the following 9 years (maybe)
$1.2 trillion in spending cuts (maybe)
Tax increase in January 2012
No balanced budget amendment
AAA rating drops

Interest rates go up, taxes go up, the cost of living goes up, unemployment goes up, Defense gets cuts, Medicare to providers gets cuts.

We lose all the way around - we've just been cooked.

There's no chance of government default on U.S. debt obligations - tomorrow's deadline is a fabrication. If we're downgraded it will be because we didn't cut enough. Please immediately call our own Representatives and the below Representatives and tell them to vote against the Debt Deal:
