MMR Vaccine - Follow The Money

The NYT reports that the Institute of Medicine claims MMR vaccine has no link to autism...
“The M.M.R. vaccine doesn’t cause autism, and the evidence is overwhelming that it doesn’t,” Dr. Ellen Wright Clayton, the chairwoman of the panel, assembled by the Institute of Medicine, said in an interview. She was referring to a combination against measles, mumps and rubella that has long been a focus of concern from some parents’ groups.
However....Other sources say otherwise -
The Institute of Medicine, which has long functioned as a front group for the pharmaceutical industry and receives tens of millions of dollars in annual funding from drug companies and global elitists (like Bill Gates, Ted Turner, etc.), has issued a report that declares the MMR vaccine is not linked to autism. This is now being widely reported in the conventional (controlled) media, which isn't telling you the real story behind this report.

What's the real story? That this IOM report, even though it goes out of its way to excuse vaccines and dismiss safety concerns, still openly admits that vaccines cause measles, febrile seizures, anaphylactic shock and other potentially fatal side effects. It also admits that other vaccines are linked to a whole host of bizarre side effects, including skin lesions, difficulty breathing and live virus infections

Furthermore, the conclusion that "vaccines do not cause autism" is erroneous, as the IOM did not interview even a single parent of an autistic child and did not conduct a medical review of any autistic children whatsoever. Instead, the IOM claims to have reviewed thousands of vaccine papers published in conventional medical journals -- yes, the very same medical journals that are practically run by pharmaceutical interests and have been caught publishing "scientific" articles that were really fraudulently ghostwritten by drug company hacks.

The controversy rages on because there's big money involved. The government had asked the the Institute of Medicine (an organization that gets government funding) to review the known risks of vaccines to help guide decisions about compensation for those who claim to have been injured by vaccines. Back in 1986 there was legislation passed by Congress which pretty much absolved vaccine makers of the risks of being sued for vaccine injuries and forced those who suffer injury to petition the government for compensation.

With all the legislators who receive money from Big Pharma and Washington being inundated with the best lobbyists Big Pharma can buy - it is pretty clear that these companies are being protected while children are being damaged.

What's really unfortunate is the media's involvement in pushing these vaccine favorable reports... then again follow the money - who buys gobs of their advertising?
Big Pharma.

In any case - parents should do their own research regarding MMR, as well as other vaccinations, and be wary. They should check these "peer reviewed" studies and look to see who funded them.

The fact is that children have gotten sick from MMR vaccines (as well as other vaccines), and there are parents out there who can attest to that. That's information parents need to know., and it is all part of informed consent.
